Fourth Sunday of Advent 22nd December 2019

The Sunday service for the last Sunday in Advent was Holy Communion  and the minister was Reverend Diana Coutts.  Several people had travelled a long distance to attend service and it was nice to see old friends who had made the journey to attend.

The fourth candle on the  Advent candle stand  was lit during a prayer.  As there would not be  a service on Christmas Day, the Christmas Candle, was lit as well. The crib was blessed and the youngest person in the Chapel participated in the blessing.

Reverend Diana gave an amusing and memorable Christmas sermon about Christ's coming and a school nativity play she had organised ago.

The Chapel has been beautifully decorated by Margaret Wilmot and Leslee Robbens. Tony, a Friend of the Chapel and Museum Volunteer has provided a CD player.  Carols are playing in the background and the music enhances the Christmas atmosphere.
