IMPORTANT INFORMATION MARCH 2019
The committee of the group known as the Friends of St George's Chapel state that the Friends of St George's Chapel is not, nor ever has been, affiliated to any group or association that acts against the Biggin Hill Memorial Museum.
It does not condone any abusive behaviour or action perpetrated against the building, the trustees involved, or towards the associated general public, by any person or persons.
It is our hope to be able to continue a productive working partnership with the Museum Trust so that the museum is a success, thus enabling the Chapel to continue as a place of worship and memorial and the cemetery that is the Garden of Remembrance, to be well-tended and provide a place of quiet contemplation for those with family ashes interred there.
Update by the Committee on 8th December 2021
It is our hope to continue the present productive working relationship with the Trust so that the Chapel continues to be a place of worship and memorial and the cemetery that is the Garden of Remembrance, is well tended and provides a place of quiet contemplation for those with family ashes interred there.
The Trust has met with the Chair, Paul Grant, to forward these aims.
Paul Grant (Chairman) , Margaret Wilmot (Secretary), David Wilmot (Treasurer),
