Two Mayors Visit the Chapel

The London Borough of Bromley is twinned with Neuwied in Germany.  Mayor Jonanthan Andrews and his consort Mrs Theresa Andrews brought the Mayor of Neuwied, Bürgermeister Jan Einwig, and his wife to visit the Chapel and Museum on Sturday 17th January 2026. The Chapel verger gave them a guided tour of St George's.   Although one might think it a difficult subject, as to what the Chapel commemorates to a German couple, there was a great empathy for the loss of all in the war on both sides.

Pictured below are Mrs Theresa Andrews, Jonathan Andrews, Jan Einig, Frau Einig and Peter the Mayor's driver.
