Saturday 13th December A Christmas Concert

Our Concert was a great success. We sang carols, were entertained with music from Eric Johnston on the piano, stories, solo singer and a skit by members of the Friends Committee who were Father Christmas and Mother Christmas and three helpful?  elves.   As Father Christmas departed with the sound of a Spitfire on his phone, (his new desired mode of travel for Christmas) ...... who could have timed it better -  as a Spitfire was heard getting airborne from the airfield!

Just under 100 people attended and £400 was donated and will be sent to -

The Forces Children's Trust
which helps any dependant children in need, whose father or mother has died or
sustained life-changing injuries whilst serving as a member of the Armed Forces.
