Forget-Me -Not' and people at the Chapel certainly didn’t; they remembered on 3rd September 2025.

A postponed service, for the anniversary of the beginning of the Battle for Britain, was eventually held in the Chapel , lead by Verger  Margaret Wilmot. It was held on the significant date of 3 September, on which war was declared on Germany in 1939.
The 105 names of aircrew on the Memorial Reredos, who had died in the Battle, were read out.    Nine blue beautifully crocheted Forget-me-not wreaths were laid in the sanctuary, each one with names at the centre . The Chapel bell was tolled 105 times.
