Remembrance is a choice, for it is by remembering the darkness that we continue to live in the light.

Many thanks to DE, the photographer for these photographs.

In the Chapel, a display remembers the Holocaust and the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau by the Allies.
It was prepared on behalf of the 'Friends of the Chapel' by Margaret Wilmot .

If you visit the Museum this week, you will receive a small bar of chocolate given by A Friend of the Chapel.

Michael Bentine, a well known comedian who died in 1966, was a liberator at Bergen Belsen concentration camp and gave some chocolate to a starving prisoner who never forgot.
