Memorial Plaques.
|
December 2025. Work has been completed the Remembrance Garden . Gardeners have placed stainless steel plates in blue pots around the edge of the Garden. They were blessed on Sunday 30 November at the 9.30am service
The plates are etched with the names of those, whose ashes are buried, in the order as in the Garden Remembrance Books . Facing the Maastricht stone, with the Spitfire behind you , the plates start on the right near the fence. You can see the names and the layout of the plates by clicking on rem_bks_for_plaquesweb_file_18.9.25.pdf The idea of the memorial plates started nearly 5 years ago. Donations were received and the money was ringfenced for this purpose. If you would like to contribute, whether you know someone or not who is buried, it is not too late. It is a continuing project and the committee of the Friends of the Chapel would be grateful for the help. See below:- |
It is important that, which ever way you choose to give, you say what the donation is for.
