Peter Lemon was 103 on 4th December 2023.

Some friends gathered in the Museum Cafe to celebrate Peter's birthday.   It was a happy and memorable occasion. A splendid tea was organised by Chef Dominic and his helpers and a toast was made to Peter. Happy birthday balloons were floating near him, one for 100 years and another for 3 years .  Mayor Tim Botting and Mayoress, his wife Kim Botting attended despite a very busy and full mayoral itinerary. Peter was presented with a framed night picture of the Chapel from the friends.   He kindly presented to the Friends of the Chapel a flag of St George  to be paraded at our special services and occasions/
