Dutch Remembrance Day

Sunday 4 May at 11 am.

After the morning service, Reverend Alison Newman lead a small service to remember Dutch Remembrance  Day at the Maastricht Stone. The historic presence and the significance of the Maastricht Stone, which was brought to Biggin Hill in 1968, was explained. A small group gathered and the names of nine Dutchmen who died flying from the Biggin Hill Sector were read out; the Chapel bell was tolled nine times.
